Information we receive

The online admission form collects the information you provide, including identity, contact, date of birth, employment, parent or guardian, emergency contact, accommodation and background details, plus an optional photograph. You may alternatively email a completed PDF application and supporting documents.

How information is used

Application information is used to assess eligibility, communicate with applicants, manage admission, arrange follow-up and support resident administration. Information is not displayed publicly.

Religion information

Where religion is requested in the admission form, it is collected only to help accommodate residents’ spiritual or dietary requirements. It will not affect admission, will not be displayed publicly and will not be used as an eligibility filter.

Sharing and protection

Form submissions generate notification emails to the authorised admissions addresses and are recorded in a restricted Google Sheet for hostel follow-up. Personal information is handled by authorised hostel or Society personnel, is not sold, and may be disclosed only where legally required or necessary to protect safety and rights. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet transmission is completely risk-free.

Storage and retention

Application information is retained only as long as reasonably required for admission review, resident administration, legal obligations and legitimate record-keeping. Optional photographs submitted online are attached to the admission notification and are not published on the website.

External services

The site uses Google Maps for location display and Google services to deliver and record admission enquiries. Those services operate under their own privacy terms.

Your choices

You may contact the hostel to ask about information you submitted, request a correction or request deletion, subject to legal and administrative retention requirements. You may also use the downloadable PDF and email route instead of the online form.
